Michael Tan Photography is a husband-and-wife team based in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
We’re drawn to real movement, real connection and photographs with a strong sense of place. Our approach is calm, direct and detail-focused so the experience feels natural and the final images still feel like you.
Whether it’s the people closest to you, the car you’ve built or an aircraft in motion, we start by understanding what makes the subject yours.
How booking works
Send your session type, preferred weekend or timeframe, location and a little about what you want photographed.
We’ll discuss availability and provide a quote covering the session, edited images, delivery and any travel. Once we agree on the details, your $25 booking deposit reserves your date and counts toward your total.
We’ll plan around the light and your subject, guide you through the session, and deliver the agreed images on the timeframe in your quote. The remaining balance is due on session day.

Session pricing is shown above when a starting package is available. Otherwise, send your idea for a personalized quote. Scope, edited-image count, delivery and any travel are agreed before booking.
Yes. A $25 booking deposit reserves your session once we’ve agreed on the details. It is applied to your session total, with the remaining balance due on session day. After confirming availability, we’ll send payment instructions by email. Payment, cancellation and rescheduling details are agreed before you pay.
A city and a rough weekend timeframe are enough to start. Tell us if your weekends are flexible or if you’d like help choosing a location.
Include your preferred location in the inquiry. Availability, travel costs, location permissions and access will be discussed for your project.
For outdoor work, we’ll discuss weather and location options during planning. Any changes to timing or location will be agreed together.
